INTRODUCTION:

The week before Easter we began looking at Revelation 14, a chapter which begins to bring us to a conclusion of chapters 12-14.  The theme of chapter 14 is the ultimate triumph of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The material in chapters 12-14 is not presented in chronological order, but by subject, but it prepares us for the climax of the end times which begins in chapter 15.

INTRODUCTION:

Last week we began our study of Revelation 13 and we looked at the first 10 verses and the rise of the beast from the sea, we discovered that this beast like the 4th beast in the prophet Daniel’s dream in Daniel 7 is a kingdom and a person.  The kingdom will be the revived Roman empire, the person will be the Antichrist which was represented in Daniel’s dream by a little horn, in John’s dream the beast represented both the kingdom and the person.

INTRODUCTION:

Last Sunday we began looking at the second part of the interlude between the sixth and seventh trumpet judgments.  In this second part we first saw the apostle John marking off a remnant of Jews for God.  In doing this God shows us that there is still a future for the nation of Israel, God is going to fulfill all the promises made to Israel, so as the judgment of God intensifies God will protect, preserve and show favor to this faithful remnant of Jews in the midst of the fury of His wrath poured out on the earth.
