As I said last Sunday, 2nd Thessalonians 2 is doctrinal as Paul seeks to clear up a false doctrine that had crept into the church in Thessalonica. This false teaching was that the Day of the Lord was already here causing confusion and fear in the hearts of the Thessalonian believers.
